What you'll do
- Work closely with client C-Suite to define and execute operating plans that effectively bridge their strategic objectives with financial resources.
- Effectively manage stakeholder relationships, including investors and board members, ensuring alignment on key financial plans and company strategy.
- Serve as a trusted sounding board to leading founders, offering insights and guidance on critical business decisions.
- Continuously analyze data and ideate strategies to identify opportunities for accelerated growth and improved operational efficiency.
- Facilitating debt and equity venture financing processes.
- Own initiatives to continually productize aspects of the CFO role, leveraging the latest AI tools
- Establish yourself as a recognized leader in the startup space, contributing to thought leadership and organizing key industry events.
Requirements & Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in a technical financial modeling role within investment banking, private equity, or management consulting.
- 1-2 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) or Business Operations within a technology company.
- Demonstrated tracked record of being a self-starter, ideating and successfully driving projects end to end that yielded tangible, positive outcomes
- Educational background or additional work experience in software engineering is a plus
- Sales operations experience (Hubspot / Salesforce) is a plus

Compensation & Location
- Base salary range + additional variable compensation range
- Flexible Hybrid Work Arrangement
- Must be based in New York or San Francisco Bay Area
